The menu is a delightful exploration of expertly crafted coffee drinks and comforting café fare. Fans rave about creative specials such as the Secret Squirrel Latte, a richer, nutty concoction with hints of hazelnut and amaretto, praised by Kevin for its vibrant flavor profile. For classic coffee aficionados, the medium roast throughout the espresso-based drinks strikes a satisfying balance with toasty, freshly layered notes, as observed by longtime customer Lanette Miles. Whether you prefer a creamy Flat White, the smooth sweetness of a Caramel Latte, or the invigorating sharpness of their Cortado, each cup promises a precise and thoughtful brew.
Complement your coffee with mouthwatering bites like the crispy yet tender Chicken and Waffles, or the simple elegance of Avocado Toast. Breakfast offerings like the Club Sandwich, served with fresh lettuce, tomato, and avocado, and wholesome options such as Oatmeal and Breakfast Quinoa cater to both hearty and health-conscious appetites. Don’t miss the baked goods — from chocolate chip cookies to the mix of vegan pastries including croissants and banana muffins — each pastry is a testament to artisanal care and flavor balance.
One of the most compelling aspects of A 2nd Cup is how customers don’t just come for the food and drink, but leave uplifted by the experience and spirit of the place. Shoutout to this Black & Female owned coffee shop. I always appreciate supporting places that have a deeper mission, which they are big advocates for human trafficking and helping those in need. I enjoyed my time here with my friend. Lots of open space for seating and not feeling crammed if you want to get some work done. There is a wide variety of baked goods, coffee drinks, tea alternatives, & light bites as well. I love that they have vegan and gluten free options (yayyy). The staff was really helpful with accomodating my food restrictions so that I could eat something. You can get their yogurt fruit bowl sans yogurt, for example, which included fruit they have in season. I also tried their tacos where you can build your own and they have a lot of toppings to choose from. The music was great and they even had a kids “play” area. The parking lot is quite small but you can park along the side of the building. I would highly recommend this spot if you don’t want something too overcrowded and can be productive while enjoying delicious treats.
Great services, drinks and food. Place is very spacious and quiet environment. Employees were very kind and coffee and pastries were perfect in my opinion. Coffee is toward more acidic than bitter (everyone has different preferences on coffee)
I went around noon on a Saturday and it was pretty quiet. I was able to get some journaling done while I was there. Highly recommend their honey lavender latte!!
Chill coffee shop in the heights area I had one of their specials, the secret squirrel, it had great coffee flavor mixed with nutty (almond and hazelnut) flavor but was on the sweeter side for me. Service is super friendly! Iris was warm and her coffee recommendation was most welcome. Atmosphere is great for studying or catching up with a friend! The large windows on both sides let in plenty of natural light. There’s a variety of seating from couches to armchairs to tables and chairs and floor mats. Their provided WiFi is not time limited and their seating is cushioned, which makes the space great for studying. There is background music but it’s not very loud. They even play music form one of my favorite artists - Cigarettes after Sex.
I enjoyed my visit to A 2nd Cup. This coffee shop has been around. I use to visit them at the old location so when I heard they saw they were opened again, I knew I wasn’t going to be disappointed.Their roast is medium roast with freshly layered toasty notes. I got their oat milk latte and an apple turnover and my husband got a vanilla oat milk latte and a breakfast sandwich. Everything was delicious. We will be back to visit.
Great coffee show to spend time and work. Coffee is delicious and atmosphere is pleasant
Cute spot off Fulton and Calvacade right outside the Heights area. Comfy spots to sit and fellowship, talk business… or just relax! Got my Matcha! This one is an Oatmilk Matcha w/ Vanilla and Brown Sugar. Yum!!
Great coffee shop! I had their barbacoa tacos and they were delicious. Shout out to the barista, Adrian, for suggesting a guava matcha latte- it was soo good! I’d never had that combo before. It was a chill atmosphere and great place to get some work done!
